'THE GREEN COLT' WINS THE WILL ROGERS MEDALLION AWARD

S. J. Dahlstrom won the gold medal at the 2017 Will Rogers Medallion Awards for The Green Colt, the fourth book in "The Adventures of Wilder Good" series. The Green Colt was named best western fiction for younger readers. The Will Rogers Medallion Awards recognize excellence in Western literature and media.

S. J. Dahlstrom is a two-time winner—his book Texas Grit won a Will Rogers Award gold medal in 2015.

The Green Colt also won the Western Heritage Award for Juvenile Book and was named a finalist for the Western Writers of America Spur Award for Juvenile Fiction.
